Introducing Stretch! The evil lord of destruction!
Over the last couple of years I’ve been working with my friends Mimi Kim and Chris Piascik
In 2020 Chris and I collaborated to create this little guy. He drew up a monster and I modeled it in 3D. Some time after that, we got it 3D printed, painted, boxed up and made it into a little toy!
Chris absolutely nailed it on the illustration and packaging and Mimi stepped in and did an amazing job on the zine as well as painting all of the little dudes. I think there were 7 in total, of which maybe 3-4 survived. They were super fragile and always break when you ship them, or even just move them too much. So unfortunately, they aren’t coming to a store near you. 😂😂😂
But it was a super fun project that I learned so much from and it got me excited to do the next one. This one really is served as a great learning experience for future models/toys and I feel like I have so much useful information as I embark on printing my own!
A huge thank you to Mimi and Chris who both really brought the project to life. I truly and genuinely could not have done it without you! I’m looking forward to the next one!
