Art Prompt - Celestial
Finally got a chance to try my hand at cyanotype.
Generally speaking, I do my favorite work when the moon is still out. So I was excited to dig into this prompt. I started by designing this ‘negative’ with 4 pieces of clear 8.5x11 transfer paper that I printed out separately and taped together. Next, I exposed a 22x30 piece treated piece of paper with the negative overlaid to the moonlight for 10 hours on.
The scale and type of paper proved to have its own difficulties but on my last try I was able to manage this print which I’m really happy with. Definitely can't wait to try this more.
